- After laundering, seal the clothes in plastic trash bags. The bags should be sealed tight.

How to kill bed bugs by properly spraying your sleeping area

- The first product you will use in the bed bug killing kit above is the Permethrin SFR, applied at 1 2/3 ounces per 1 gallon of water.
- Spray around the outside of the mattress. (seams, folds) DO NOT SPRAY THE SURFACE OF THE MATTRESS WHERE YOU SLEEP - The seams and folds of the mattress are the most important area to spray because this is the #1 spot where bed bugs prefer to hide.
- Remove the dust cover under the box spring (if applicable) and thoroughly spray the entire underside and edges, including all folds, wood surfaces and cracks.
- Spray all areas of the bed frame as well.
- Move on and spray all cracks in the head board. The head board is a critical area for bed bugs because it rarely moves and is close to the host.
